Yet the more I listened, the more I found to love and in the end I'm super happy to have gone through with it. It was a painful procedure - well over a hundred more excellent tracks didn't make the cut - but also educational as my tastes used to be quite Japan centric prior to making the list. This is my contribution to the recent HG101 voting for the top western game music tracks of all time, along with an additional fifty picks so I can have my own top 100.
